Cards review of “Heroes of Skyrim”: part 1

Let’s inspect the cards review of “Heroes of Skyrim” that have been already announced. “Heroes of Skyrim” is the new expansion set in The Elder Scrolls:Legends.It will include over 150 new cards, on March 5th. The card packs will be available for purchase on June 29.

The first 13 new cards were announced for players at the moment:

Brynjolf – has an interesting mechanics of gaining extra magicka crystals and can be playable in midrange Pilfer decks. It will not be good on Arena because of stats.

College of Winterhold – interesting support especially for decks with a lot of actions. It can be playable in control mage because of chance to draw extra Execute or another 1-cost Action that will be good in the current situation. Also can be playable in OTK Mage. It is pretty good on Arena.

Ulfric Stormcloak – strong 5-drop Legendary because of synergy with Shout. Has a pretty good stats and keyword Breakthrough. It can be playable in midrange decks and maybe in control decks with Shouts. It will be pretty nice on Arena.

A Land Divided – very slow Action. You can choose one of the effects according to the situation but the mana cost makes it bad for most of decks. On Arena this Legendary card is bad.

Skeletal Dragon – pretty interesting Dragon because of synergy with your discard pile. It has bad stats but can be playable in control decks especially based on this synergy. On Arena this card is bad because of little chance to have value.

Unrelenting Force – pretty strong Shout card. On Level 1 it will unsummon enemy creature with 3 power or less, will unsummon enemy creature (like Cast Out) on level 2 and will unsummon all enemy creatures on level 3. Can be playable in all decks and on Arena.

Dova of the Voice – the stats of this Dragon are bad, it is very slow and has a random effect. So it is unplayable on ranked and bad on Arena.

Duel Atop the World – pretty interesting card but it is hard to say about it before we will see a power of the Battles mechanics.

World Wall – pretty good card in deck with Shouts but bad on Arena.

Innkeeper Delphine – pretty strong card in all decks with Dragons and Shouts but can be bad on Arena.

Journey to Sovngarde – very powerful action especially for control decks. You can build strong aggressive or midrange decks with this card too. On Arena it is slow but has a very powerful effect.

Wildfire Dragon – pretty interesting Dragon because of synergy with a lot of cards. It can be an extra removal or activator for removals in Archer with Falinesti Reaver. On Arena can be bad because it deals damage for your creatures too.

Studious Greybeard – it has a very interesting mechanic especially in combo or OTK decks because you can find the card you need faster with this card. It is bad on Arena.
