Control Mage has been a good deck during all time. It has a lot of AOE effects, point removals, defence Prophecy. You can destroy opponent’s tempo game and then beat him in late game. It is bad against Ramp Scout or another late game decks with Hist Grove. Vicious Dreugh will destroy opponent supports and this card is good against ramp supports (Hist Grove) and aggressive supports (Northwind Outpost). College of Winterhold can give you Soul Tear on level 3 and you can resurrect your Paarthurnax even if this dragon will not give you 0-cost Soul Tear.
Rage Archer is very strong deck now. It has answers for aggressive and control styles of game. Cards with keyword Lethal can beat strong enemy creatures. You can heal yourself by combination Unstoppable Rage + Snake tooth Necklace. Also you can destroy your opponent by Breakthrough keyword after playing Unstoppable Rage on Vigilant Giant after changing its cost by Journey to Sovngarde. In some decks players cut Shearpoint Dragon and use Child of Hircine as an alternative win condition. This deck beats token decks and have good winrate agains most of other decks, but can be bad against Ramp Scout.
Aggro Crusader is strong aggressive deck. It can beat you as fast as it can. Mighty Ally has 100% chance to get bonuses because of Mono Strength cards and cards with Dual Attributes ( Crusader cards Ulfric's Housecarl and Crusader's Assault will give great draw potential) in this deck. There are a lot of creatures with keyword Charge in it so if you have less than 10 health some topdecks will destroy you. Control Mage has good winrate against this deck.
Midrange Prophecy Mage was very popular deck. Now it can come back in ladder and can have good winrate. There are 26 cards with keyword Prophecy in this deck. Sometimes even if you do not control the board you will be able to come back after getting prophecies from runes. Thieves Guild Shadowfoot will help you to open opponents runes without chance of giving them Prophecy cards. Dawnstar Healer will help you to get extra heal after beating opponents runes. Haafingar Marauder will give your creatures extra buffs during destroying opponents runes.
Midrange Archer can have a good win rate against a lot of decks because of answers to opponent’s tempo play and own powerful tempo cards. There are a lot of 2-drops in this deck that can help to create a good tempo. Goblin Sculk helps a lot against aggro because of drawing Curse, Mournhold Traitor helps against other decks because of insane tempo stats. Rage Archer is better because of comeback chance after playing combo Unstoppable Rage + Snake tooth Necklace. But Midrange Archer has 15 cards with Prophecy and creatures with Charge to berat opponent and his creatures.
Ramp Scout is an insane deck because of its power in late game and answers for all game styles: it does not have cards with Prophecy but has cards with Guard, Heal. You can play this cards several times during the game because of Soul Tear that gives it great potential against control decks like Control Mage. Aggressive decks with Charges like Aggro Crusader or Aggro Warrior can have have good winrate against this deck. If you do not have ramp and defence first 5 turns you will probably die from midrange and aggro decks.
Midrange Assasin is one of the best midrange decks in the game. You can play tempo game style because of a lot of powerful early game creatures. Goblin Sculk helps a lot against aggro because of drawing Curse, Mournhold Traitor helps against other decks because of insane tempo stats. There are a lot of burst damage in this deck. If Cliff Racer, Lightning Bolt, Ancano are not destroying opponent’s face, Supreme Atromancer and Tazkad the Packmaster will do this job.
Control Crusader is a powerful control deck now. It has only 10 Prophecy cards but there are a lot of creatures with Guard and point removals in this deck. Also you can combine Ravenous Hunger + Unstoppable Rage to heal yourself and destroy opponent’s board. If you use this combo with third card Crusader's Assault you will draw cards for each slaying creature and each Pilfer attack from Breakthrough. Also you can destroy your opponent by Breakthrough keyword after playing Unstoppable Rage on Vigilant Giant after changing its cost by Journey to Sovngarde.
Orc Warrior is a strong deck with some synergy between orcs in it. You can chose aggressive style of game because of attack buffs from Militan Chieftain and Morkul Gatekeeper and Charge creatures Wood Orc Headhunter and Battlerage Orc. Also you can control the board after playing Stoneshard Orc and Dushnikh Yal Archer. There are also some Prophecy cards and cards that give you draw potential in this deck. Sower of Revenge can give you extra burst damage because of its Last Gasp effect.
Altair Control Monk can be pretty good against all aggressive and token decks. You can upgrade Drain Vitality to 3 level and deal -2/-2 to all tokens. Altar of Despair will help you to upgrade your shouts by summoning World Wall too. It can also be good against Control Mage. Bad against Scout, Spellsword or another decks with cards that can destroy supports like Belligerent Giant or Vicious Dreugh.
Token Crusader is now not so popular and strong but still has good winrate in current meta. It has good tempo game and excellent card draw potential that gives chance to create a strong board several times. To beat this deck you should have AOE`s, cards with Prophecy or cards that deal damage and destroy opponent’s tokens one by one. Control Mage can beat this deck after playing some AOE actions. Rage Archer will destroy token decks because of controlling the board and playing combo Unstoppable Rage + Snake tooth Necklace.
Midrange Sorcerer is a good universal deck too like Midrange Archer. But it is better against Control Mage because Wrath of Sithis can block AOE, but not so good against token decks especially Token Crusader.
